Hand of Origin was founded by Mongolian designer Hongorzul Bayaraa, who lives and works in Berlin. She began creating under the name Hongra H510801O during her fashion studies — a deeply personal tradition rooted in identity and origin. In 2024, she took a bold step: turning her one-of-a-kind designs into a full collection, produced where her roots lie — in Mongolia.

By sourcing pure Mongolian finest cashmere, warmest yak down, and soft camel hair directly from local herders, the designer honors the rare, raw beauty of her native landscape. Her mindfully minimal designs give precedence to the materials themselves — expressed through clean lines, organic tones, and timeless silhouettes that embody sustainability, craftsmanship, and soul. Every garment is envisioned in Berlin and brought to life in Ulaanbaatar by a close-knit circle of artisans, connecting two worlds through shared heritage and enduring quality
